Ergo Baby Carrier

So, I know I haven't posted in ages on this blog. I'm not even sure if anyone even follows it but it's all good - my feelings aren't hurt 'cos I've clearly abandoned the blog. But I'm writing on this today to increase my chances of winning an Ergo Baby Carrier through the Riddlove Blog (my friend Katie Riddle who is unbelievably awesome). She was given this opportunity to give away this carrier through The Homegrown Family's website. Some of you may know, and other may not know, but in 6wks, the man and I are going to be welcoming our 3rd baby boy to the family - Sawyer Joseph Starbuck is due to arrive on March 9th but the joke is that he probably won't make his apperance till April since I've gone late with my last two births. I work from home full time and have the opportunity to keep my lil' bub home with me for a year while I work. So, there's a LOT of holding when I'm working. I did it with Spencer and I did not have one of these things and I wish I did. So, I'm doing what I can to win this thing.

If you want to check out Katie's blog and the Homegrown Family's website, please vist :

For those of you who are interested in the Starbubbs product - I will have some pictures coming shortly. I'm in the process of making my very own Amy Butler Nappy Bag for myself finally and I'm in the process of picking out fabrics to make all my own bedding as well (with the help of my mother-in-law of course). I'm excited to see how it all turns out. I just need to get my butt in gear and commit to some fabrics. So, stay tuned...

...diaper bag

I had fun on this lil' one.

I met my friend Rachel (http://racheltrigueiro.blogspot.com/) at Beverly's one day to pick out fabric for this diaper bag. She was going to a baby shower for a friend and since I'm still a lil' hesitant to pick fabric out for someone I don't know, I wanted her opinion since she knew the girl. The funny thing is, I got there a lil' bit before Rachel and I had my eye on a few fabrics that I thought were adorable. Sure enough, when Rachel got there, she picked out the same fabrics that I was eyeing. I did the diaper bag and thought, this needs a few goodies for the inside and since I had leftover scraps. I had a ton of fun on this one and want to do some more.

the domain...

I just purchased the domain name for STARBUBBS! How exciting. Now I'm working with different friends to make it look right. I got together with Erin Davis (Studio 317) to take pictures (professional ones...not generic ones) of my products and I'm working with another friend to figure out how to make my website look good and be functional. I like to think that I can figure stuff out for myself but I'm a quicker learner when I have someone show me something first and then try it for myself. So be on the lookout for a new "official" STARBUBBS site.
